Association Overview

The Canada Contemporary & Diverse Artists Association (CACDA) is a non-profit arts organization dedicated to discovering, supporting, and promoting contemporary artists from diverse cultural backgrounds. Headquartered in the Greater Vancouver area of Canada, CACDA welcomes visual artists from all ethnicities, languages, and cultural heritages around the world. The association is committed to fostering diversity and inclusivity within Canadas art ecosystem.

CACDA aims to build an open, equal, and respectful platform for artistic expression. It regularly organizes exhibitions, competitions, lectures, and community art projects, offering local and international artists opportunities to showcase their talent and engage in cultural dialogue.

The associations main venue is located at the Tsawwassen Art Center, situated inside Tsawwassen Mills, the largest single-building commercial area in the Vancouver region. With a high footfall and vibrant atmosphere, the location brings strong public engagement and social influence. Through curated artworks, CACDA presents narratives of cultural integration and coexistence in Canadian society, and has gained widespread attention and support from communities, art institutions, and government bodies.

Message from the Founder

In todays increasingly diverse world, art is no longer the exclusive language of any single culture. It is a shared spacea place of connection, resonance, and mutual understanding across differences. That is why we founded the Canada Contemporary & Diverse Artists Association (CACDA): to provide a platform where artists from all cultural backgrounds can be equally seen, freely express themselves, and deeply appreciate one another.

Our mission is to amplify diverse voices, foster greater cultural understanding, and make art a true medium for social dialogue. No matter where youre from, what language you speak, or what form your art takesthis platform is for you.

The future of art is not only about Who am I?but more importantly, How can we be together?

May CACDA be a warm, creative home and a bridge connecting the world through art.
